Action Teams have access to Beyond War’s
excellent educational resources and lively, interactive
network. Personal contact and support from the
international Beyond War office connects all those
working in the movement, decreasing feelings of
isolation, stimulating creativity and inspiring hope.
Beyond
War’s eight-week Study Series provides a vibrant array
of ideas participants explore together through
thoughtful dialogue. Group members have an opportunity
to internalize Beyond War’s guiding principles and core
practices, and to craft effective, nonviolent responses
to both current and future conflicts. In addition,
drawing from historical models, the series explores such
topics as encouraging social change, exploring efficient
alternatives to violence and understanding successful
advocacy.
Donations to Beyond War are critical to our ability to
advocate for a world in which conflicts are resolved
nonviolently. Your tax-deductible gift enables us to
reach out to citizens and provide information and
inspiration for actions that educate and change the way
people think about war. When enough of us shift the way
we think, governments will reflect this change
recognizing that violence is a futile means to achieve
